“Playing” Django are a 5 piece Gypsy Jazz group based in Birmingham. They delight and amaze audiences around the country with their interpretations of the classic sounds of swing of the 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s from Django Reinhardt and Stephan Grappelli.
Featuring the amazing vocal talents of Abigail Seabrook and the virtuoso violin of Pete Hartley, this is a group that has bags of life and fun.

Lady Georgianna are three lascivious ladies in 18th century costume. They perform theatre songs from the pleasure gardens of Georgian London, the hit songs of the day, with all the wit that went with them. Featuring vocals, harpsichord and barqoue cello, Lady Georgianna intersperse poetry and reading from the period for a complete 18th century experience.

Fordante

New crossover classical group Fordante perform a fresh and exciting mix of well known music from the big screen alongside that created by film composer Phil Mountford.
Their Venetian masks hint at the worldwide sound from Italian baroque to Argentinean tango, from an English summer’s day to an Arabian night.
Through the use of electronics their unique strings, oboe and piano style brings a more traditional sound into the 21st Century, appealing to all audiences including those new to classical music.

Red Alert
