I studied composition at Birmingham Conservatoire with Richard Leigh Harris and John Mayer and since 1992 have produced works that fall roughly into 3 areas.

Educational Music
Being involved with teaching and learning most of my life, I have found the music needs of young performers inspirational and have produced a series of solo and ensemble works. Most significant is a book of Bass Trombone studies Bass Bone Bonanza published by Warwick Music

Most of this music is for Bass Trombone solo or Trombone Quartet and includes music published by Warwick Music and my own company Andek Music Publishing
My most recent commission was for a jazz inspired brass quintet for the Bristol Brass Consort and this is also available from Andek Music.

I also compose and arrange music for big band and have had music performed live by Fat Chops Big Band, Sandwell Youth Jazz Orchestra and the Coventry University Big Band.
